MURIC CONGRATULATES GBAJABIAMILA, IBRAHIM, AKUME

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu yesterday appointed Femi Gbajabiamila, Ibrahim Hadejia and Gerge Akume as Chief of Staff (COS), Deputy Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) respectively. Meanwhile congratulatory messages have started pouring in for the trio.

 

 

Among those who have congratulated the trio is the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC). In a statement released by its Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola, from the group’s Lagos headquarters on Sunday, 4th June, 2023, the Islamic human rights organization described the appointments as faultless.

 

Akintola said :

 

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu yesterday appointed the speaker of the House of Representatives, Abdul Hakeem Femi Gbajabiamila, Senator Ibrahim Hadejia and George Akume as Chief of Staff (COS), Deputy Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) respectively.

 

 

“MURIC felicitates with the trio. In particular, Gbajabiamila’s suitability for the post is indubitable considering his twenty years legislative experience. We urge the new appointees to work conscientiously.”
